Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-02
These terms govern your use of Throughline (“Throughline,” “we,” “us”) and your membership. By creating an account or paying for a membership, you agree to them.
What the membership is
Throughline is an educational and informational membership. It includes the trades I take, shared as the method flags them, market insight, a members-only community, and occasional lessons. This is not a signal service; what I post is for your own research and decision-making — it is not personalized financial advice. Entries, stops, take-profit targets, leverage, and Plan A / Plan B describe the trade I am taking — they are not instructions, signals, or a recommended position size for you, and the record is not a model portfolio. See our Disclaimer and Risk Disclosure.
Billing
During prelaunch, membership is $40/month or $400/year (founding pricing; annual is billed once — two months free versus paying monthly). Founding rates are locked for two years from signup; after that, founding memberships renew at $60/month (or $600/year) for as long as the membership remains continuously active. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Your membership renews automatically each period until you cancel. The 60-Day Risk Reset guarantee (not yet active — it launches together with the Method curriculum) is described in our Refund & Cancellation policy.
Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from your billing portal — one click, no questions. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. See our Refund & Cancellation policy.
Acceptable use
Your membership is for you. Please do not redistribute, resell, or publicly repost the trades I post, community content, or lessons. Keep the community respectful; we may suspend or remove accounts that abuse, harass, spam, or attempt to disrupt the service.
No advice; no guarantees
Nothing in the membership is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or commodity trading advisor. We do not promise any return, win rate, or outcome. Crypto and leveraged trading carry a substantial risk of loss, and most retail traders lose money. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions. We have no fiduciary relationship with you: we are not your fiduciary, adviser, or agent, and we owe you no duty to act in your best interest. You do not rely on us for investment decisions.
Use for your own research only
Everything in the membership — the trades I post and their entries, exits, stops, take-profit targets, leverage, and commentary — is published for education and research. Do not treat any of it as a real-time signal or a recommendation to execute in your own account, and do not copy, follow, or replicate the trades. You place every trade yourself; we never manage money, hold funds, or direct your account.
Community
The members-only community is for general discussion and education. Anything shared there — by us or other members — is general and educational, never advice tailored to your circumstances, positions, or account. We will not tell you whether to take a trade at your size or on your account, and no fiduciary or advisory relationship is created by any community exchange.
Limitation of liability
You acknowledge that (1) you alone are responsible for your trading decisions and their outcomes, and (2) you will not act on anything we publish without your own independent research. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Throughline is not liable for any trading losses, opportunity costs, or any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on anything we publish — whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages. The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.
Dispute resolution
Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service will be resolved by binding arbitration before a single neutral arbitrator under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, seated in Birmingham, Alabama. You and Throughline waive the right to a jury trial and agree that claims will be brought only in an individual capacity — not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative proceeding. Arbitration costs are allocated as applicable law requires.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these terms; we will note the “last updated” date above when we do.
